Biographical Information Updates

Making Updates to Your Biographical Information

The following information can be updated online in the Student Center:

• Preferred and Degree Names
• Pronouns
• Address(es)
• Phone Number(s)
• Non-IU Email(s)
• Emergency Contacts

If you need to update one of the following, no longer have access to your IU account, or otherwise require assistance making updates to your information, you will need to complete the Biographical Information Update form.

• Primary Name
• Date of Birth
• Gender

The form must be submitted in-person

The Office of the Registrar cannot accept forms or documentation through mail, email, or fax.

An up-to-date Photo ID and any relevant documentation must be provided for any changes that are being requested.
